Tall Ships
The last day of the Tall Ships festival in Halifax saw all the ships sail once around the harbour and then head out to sea. The Bluenose II was the first boat (and the tallest one in the distance) and the crowd enthusiastically cheered her as she passed and then disappeared into the murky beyond. Ah, we do love the Bluenose around these parts.
The photographer must have, and keep in him, some of the reseptiveness of the child who looks at the world for the first time, or of the traveller who enters a strange country.
