Jessica At Eleven
This is my niece Jessica, my brother's daughter, caught in a rare quiet moment. They used to live close to me in Winnipeg but have since moved back home to Nova Scotia. I am here visiting and it wasn't until I saw them again that I really realized how much I miss them - how much I love them. I will be moving back to Nova Scotia in the spring - it will be good to be home ... it will be good to be able to spend time with my nieces again.

My quest, through the magic of light and shadow, is to isolate, to simplify and to give emphasis to form with the greatest clarity. To indicate the ideal proportion, to reveal sculptural mass and the dominating spirit is my goal.
