Neon Hammer
Five daughters live in the house that sits beside this work-shop garage. Beside the air compressor hang figure skates with pink guards. There is a repaired ceramic piggy-bank (that is actually a bear) beside the Chilton manuals.
One of those daughters has been in here, when the sky was a dusty grey and the television was in use by someone else and the homework was all done ... with a piece of chalk.
"Kids," he says with a chuckle every time he uses that hammer.
A good photograph is like a good hound dog, dumb, but eloquent.
